Vintage Zebra Figurine Finland Mid Century Modern Taisto Kaasinen

Description

This is a vintage zebra figurine marked “Made In Finland” in green. This zebra was in a display case and must have been “bumped” as he now has a hairline crack. There is also a very small chip on his foot. This piece has been attributed to Taisto Kaasinen (1918 – 1980) who was one of Findland’s leading ceramic artists. The zebra is approximately 5 ¾ inches tall by 6 inches long. Even with the crack he still displays nicely in a showcase.
