This rare photo book measures 10-1/2 x 7-3/4 inches, contains 238 text and illustrated pages and was published
by Gauverlag Tirol
in 1942.
The book depicts
the history of the Battle of Narvik during the German invasion of Norway,
efforts of the German Army, Navy and Air Force - mountain troops, sailors, paratroopers and fliers - to conquer the Norway and the main point - Narvik !!
The pictures shows many different military equipment, uniforms, weapons,
ships among the fjords, Luftwaffe planes over the polar circle, german paratroopers bringing in ammunition supplies, British and French ships, airplanes and tanks and many, many more...
