The book is in good original shape, but it is 80+ years old and the paper is little yellow...it was used as there is the name and the service number of the pilot who used it.
Note: As an active licensed pilot and (hopeless beginner) german speaker, I can say that everything covered in this book is still valid airmanship and good knowledge, from aerodynamics, to instruments, flight controls, navigation, weather, ... with exception of combat tactics, I can't say much about that, don't know, as I have never been in a dogfight againts P-51 mustangs or P-38 Lightning...
