Here are two of Bruce Culver incredible opus: "Panzer Colors" offered in a 1st edition collection as published by Squadron/Signal in the 1970's.
Subtitled "Markings (Camouflage) of the German Panzer Forces, 1939-45" these books are an incredible source of highly detailed historical information on the fabled Panzer tank forces that had dominated the German offensive forays into Africa, Russian, and Europe throughout World War II.
Culver's research included deep dives into military, government, and private library and museum archives as well as personal interview with multiple primary sources.
The German system of three color camouflage was the most sophisticated "protective coloration" ever produced and was still in widespread use at the time these books were originally published.
Each book contains hundreds of clear photos featuring the Panzer in all phases of its life including production lines, battle scenes, parades, and both in victory and vanquished defeat. There are also dozens of color illustrations, and exhaustive examples of the variations, symbology, and many unique division and unit markings.
Each 95 page book is 8.5" X 11" with softbound cover.
Each are in very good condition with intact bindings, very good clean pages, and well reproduced photos and prints. There is some surface scuffing on the covers.
