Originally designed for Alex, this dramatic gown is perfect for Gene Marshall.
Includes Monique dark purple ribbon heels.
This stunning gown is cut from a rich royal purple heavy satin.  The bodice features a tie back of neck.  This gown was featured on the front and back cover of the Alex catalog that year.
Crysanthymums crafted of beads, all hand sewn, which adorn all  sides of the skirt.  I never cease to be amazed at the intricacy of this patiently and proficiently hand-sewn beadwork.  This gown is a work of art.
The dress has a full crinoline of two layers of soft black silk organza.  The fabric is semi-sheer and silky, like a mousseline.
There is no glue or velcro used in any of the Alex outfits.  They are up to the standards expected for Gene Marshall outfits.
Does not include doll, shoes, jewelry, shawl, box, or stand.
No COA.
