    Description

    Uniforms and Soldiers
This book is illustrated with 32 full-page, full-color photographs and countless smaller illustrations (by Theo
Matejko) depicting the Honor Uniforms of the Armed Forces. The extremely comprehensive text explains
how the uniforms of the German Forces were a practical yet striking outgrowth of a long tradition of
    effective, well-designed uniforms.
The color photographs (by Dr. Paul Wolff) in the book were made in the uniform factory
of Peek & Cloppenburg, still a very major player in the European high-fashion clothing business.
The 32 big, clear color plates perfectly show the cutting, tailoring and manufacture of WW2 German military
uniforms from bolts of raw material through pressing and finishing as no other book does. The dozens of
smaller illustrations show the utility of German Luftwaffe, Panzer and other uniforms in the air and in the
    field in combat situations.
