    Description

    A rare Arabia of Finland midcentury modern Haarikka mug. Designed by Gunvor Olin Gronqvist. Cobalt blue and dark green stripes. Measures approx. 3 1/2” height and 3 1/2"diameter. The mug is signed on the bottom“Arabia Finland GOG/PR”.
    Gunvor Olin- Grönqvist studied porcelain painting at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture from 1948-1951 in Finland and then worked his whole career from 1951-1992 at the Arabia Department of Industrial Art and Art Department.
    Circa 1960, hand-decorated and signed. Very good condition, a few light stains on the interior, no chips or cracks.
