Again - that is not a typo - 6 7/8" wide
Perhaps this is what is formally called a "luncheon plate".
Some sellers call this out as a Salad Plate, although there are 8" Plates in this pattern that are most often referred to as "salad plates"
We ourselves have 5 different sizes of plates in this pattern - whatever you want to call it, this is 6 7/8" wide !!!
