This is a pre owned unit with the Carry Bag, Field Manual, Light Shroud, Lens Pen, Larue Adjustment tool, Operator 2 quick reference cards, and of course the killflash ARD (Anti-Reflection Device). The unit was serviced before I purchased it and has sat in my safe since. In the future if you want to have the unit serviced, the FLIR Billerica Office will service and repair them as they are current tech.

The AN/PVS-27 Magnum Universal Night Sight (MUNS) is a high-resolution Clip-on Night Vision Device (CNVD) that mounts on any MIL-STD-1913 rail in front of any existing scope. This adds night vision capabilities to daytime target acquisition platforms. The AN/PVS-27 MUNS utilizes a full MIL-SPEC Gen 3 (automated pinnacle) image intensifier tube, an extremely fast f/1.0 catadioptric lens for a brighter and sharper image in starlight, and patented permanent bore-sight alignment technology.
The AN/PVS-27 MUNS gathers twice as much light as the AN/PVS-22 Universal Night Sight (UNS) and can be used against targets at 1.5 times the range of the AN/PVS-22. The unit is installed, operated, and removed without tools and without affecting boresight (permanent boresight alignment). The unit can be mounted on a spotting scope for long range reconnaissance, hand-held as a Night Observation Device (NOD), or used in other night-time operations requiring night vision capabilities.
The AN/PVS-27 MUNS is revolutionary when used with a high magnification fixed or variable power dayscope. The magnification is provided by the dayscope, which typically has much smaller optics than those associated with normal 4X or 6X night vision weapon sights. This means there is no loss in system gain or typical f/number loss associated with large optics. Variable magnification day scopes can actually zoom in (up to 20X) and still retain the same gain with only a slight loss in resolution.
Each unit comes with an Operator’s Manual, Flip-up Lens Cap, Soft Carry Case, LaRue Piccatiny Rail Mount, Batteries, and Lens Cleaning Kit.
